Steve has over 35 years in the business of communication. His career started out in Radio as an Announcer, Disc Jockey, Production Director, and Voice Talent. He moved into Television working as a Cameraman, Announcer, Director,  Audio Technician, and Production Assistant.

Steve put his talents to good use with a tour of duty with the American Forces Radio & Television Service in Asia and Europe.

In the early 1980's Steve went to work for Projection, Inc., a large Audio Visual and Staging company in Washington, DC., as a technician and then manager. His duties included overseeing the technical requirements of large meetings and events for the Government and Corporate client.

By 1984, Steve started his own Audio Visual Company in Frederick, MD providing professional AV & Communication services for Corporate and Government customers as well as being the first company to offer professional AV services to all types of customers in the Mid-Atlantic area.

In 1990 Satellite services were added to the mix of  technical services. He provided Downlinks & Uplinks, Installation, Maintenance, and Program Management for the Corporate Satellite user.

Today, Steve Jacobson is concentrating on the core businesses of Satellite Downlink & Uplink Services and Audio Visual communications. His customer base includes Government and large Corporations as well as local users who want to utilize the latest technology and have the most professional presentation possible.
